SEN Teaching Assistant Cambridge | £90 to £110 per day | September Start Not every child needs someone to fix them. Sometimes they just need someone who won't give up on them. If you've got the resilience to stay calm when others can't, the patience to build trust over time, and the confidence to support children with additional needs, this could be the role for you. Simply Education is recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support fantastic primary schools and specialist settings across Cambridge this September. We're looking for people who genuinely want to make a difference and understand that progress isn't always measured in grades. Sometimes it's measured in smiles, confidence and small victories. This role would suit you if you have experience as: SEN Teaching Assistant Learning Support Assistant Behaviour Mentor Sports Coach working with children Residential Care Worker Youth Worker Support Worker within children's services What you'll be doing Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs Working 1:1 and in small groups Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage with learning Building positive relationships through consistency and trust Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and wider support teams What we're looking for A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Experience supporting children or young people with SEND Excellent behaviour management and communication skills Resilience, patience and a calm approach under pressure An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one A genuine passion for helping every child reach their potential Why join Simply Education?
