Architectural Technician
\nLocation: Truro
\nSalary: £27-30,000
\nAn exciting opportunity has become available for an Architectural Technician to join an established and highly regarded architectural practice in Truro. Working across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, you will play a key role in developing detailed technical information and supporting projects through to delivery. \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Develop and produce accurate technical drawings and construction information across a range of project types and RIBA work stages. \n
- Prepare planning, Building Regulations and detailed construction drawing packages. \n
- Produce technical details, specifications and project documentation. \n
- Assist with the development and coordination of construction information, ensuring drawings are accurate, buildable and compliant. \n
- Coordinate architectural information with structural engineers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders. \n
- Assist with resolving technical design and construction issues throughout the project lifecycle. \n
- Support project teams with the preparation of tender and construction information. \n
- Attend project meetings, site visits and inspections as required. \n
- Review and coordinate drawings and technical information to ensure consistency and accuracy. \n
- Ensure work is delivered on programme and in accordance with current Building Regulations, relevant standards and industry best practice. \n
- Maintain a high standard of technical output while contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of project delivery. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Qualified or experienced Architectural Technician, or equivalent relevant experience. \n
- Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice. \n
- Strong technical drawing and detailing skills, with a good understanding of construction methods and buildability. \n
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and other industry-standard architectural software. \n
- Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning requirements and construction standards. \n
- Experience producing detailed drawing packages from planning through to construction stages. \n
- Understanding of technical coordination and working with consultants and contractors. \n
- Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and organised approach to project delivery. \n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients and external consultants. \n
- Proactive, reliable and keen to continue developing your technical knowledge and professional experience. \n
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative project team. \n
