Finance Director

I am delighted to be working with an established organisation seeking an Interim Finance Director. This is a "sleeves rolled up" role, not just a board-reporting seat: you'll be expected to get properly stuck in alongside a strong existing finance team.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as trusted advisor to the CEO, Board and Senior Leadership Team, owning the FD-level agenda day to day
\n
• Oversee reporting on trading KPIs, footfall and pricing through a major seasonal trading period
\n
• Provide financial guidance and budget oversight on a significant capital project
\n
• Support and lead the finance, working closely with a capable Finance Controller who manages month-end
\n
• Contribute to financial planning, forecasting and budgeting using in-house systems
\n

What we're looking for:

\n
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with senior/FD-level interim experience
\n
• Comfortable operating hands-on as well as strategically — this isn't a purely oversight role
\n
• Charity sector experience useful but not essential
\n
• Familiarity with Sage 200 or similar forecasting/reporting tools an advantage
\n

Available for an immediate start

Onsite requirement is flexible — 3 to 5 days per week negotiable.
