We're looking for a Corporate Finance and Advisory, Director to join our team in London. This role offers a salary of £110,000 - £115,000 and a hybrid working pattern.

Job Purpose

Lead ICAEW's Corporate Finance Faculty, setting strategic direction and driving member value, growth and engagement for the corporate finance community. Own the faculty's technical thought leadership agenda, member proposition and commercial performance, whilst building and developing a high performing team. The postholder will be expected to contribute in a collaborative way to the delivery of ICAEW's strategy and overarching member value proposition, working closely with colleagues to ensure that ICAEW's support for members is aligned and accessible to members wherever they are located.

What you will be doing;

• Define and deliver the Corporate Finance Faculty strategy, aligned to ICAEW's wider membership priorities and in line with Direction 2030, working cross functionally with other faculties, regions and central teams to avoid duplication and maximise reach
\n
• Own faculty budget, subscription growth, retention, event, content and cost management, reporting on faculty performance against KPIs such as membership, engagement and revenue/cost
\n
• Direct the development of high-quality thought leadership, policy positions, technical insight and practical guidance on issues affecting the Corporate Finance community, leading on the production of insightful and effective responses to official calls for evidence, select committees and regulatory consultations
\n
• Build and maintain relationships with senior figures across the corporate finance profession, including advisors, investors, regulators and lawyers, and represent ICAEW externally as a credible spokesperson on corporate finance matters through speaking engagements, stakeholder forums, media activity and senior industry networks
\n
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Learning division to ensure alignment between ICAEW's structured CPD offering and member offering, and lead, manage and develop the faculty team, setting objectives and supporting talent development
\n
• Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with business needs
\n

What you will need;

• The ability to build relationships with members, stakeholders and external partners across the organisation
\n
• Accomplished speaker who can talk with credibility on a range of relevant issues
\n
• ACA or equivalent with strong corporate finance background ( advisory, transactions or related sector experience)
\n
• Strong external stakeholder and media presence
\n
• Commercial acumen
\n
• Ability to take the initiative and work proactively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
