\n\nWe are now looking for an Assistant Buyer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 38.75 hours per week.

\n\nThe Role
\n\nAs an Assistant Buyer, you will support our Buying team across a diverse range of home and lifestyle products, helping deliver commercially successful product ranges.
\n\nWorking closely with Buyers and Far East suppliers, you will support new product development and existing ranges, obtaining product details, pricing, samples, lead times and documentation.
\n\nYou will also maintain accurate product, supplier and cost information, supporting purchase orders and tracking critical path milestones to ensure products are delivered on time.
\n\nAdditionally, you will:
\n\n- Monitor market trends, pricing and competitor activity
\n- Support regular competitor reviews and benchmarking exercises
\n- Provide insights to help inform range decisions
\n- Prepare reports, presentations and data analysis for range reviews
\n- Support the Buyer with ad-hoc projects and day-to-day tasks
\n\nAbout You
\n\nTo be considered as an Assistant Buyer, you will need:
\n\n- Some experience working within a buying function
\n- Critical path workflow and management skills
\n- Strong administrative skills with the ability to work independently
\n- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\n- Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills
\n- The ability to understand and respond to changes in demand, supply and logistics
