• Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
\n
• Lead the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts to meet the needs of the business stakeholders.
\n
• Oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes.
\n
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
\n
• Monitor budgets and forecasts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
\n
• Overall responsibility for producing accurate short-term and long-term cash flow projections.
\n
• Manage and mentor a junior team member within the finance department.
\n

Profile

\n
• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
\n
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
\n
• Experience in financial management within the construction industry or a similar sector.
\n
• Proven ability to manage financial processes and meet deadlines effectively.
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
\n

Job Offer

• Long term interim assignment of 12 months with a September start.
\n
• Competitive day rate of £350-£450 per day (inside IR35).
\n
• Hybrid working arrangement with flexibility of 2-3 days in the office per week.
