Working Supervisor / Telehandler Operator – Energy Storage Exeter, Devon September 2026 Competitive CIS Rates / LTD Long-Term Contract Mint Selection are currently recruiting for a Working Supervisor / Telehandler Operator to support the delivery of a major Energy Storage project based in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest energy infrastructure projects, working alongside a leading principal contractor delivering critical energy transition projects. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to supervise a small team of operatives while also operating the telehandler and assisting with general site activities. Responsibilities * Supervising a team of General Operatives on site * Operating the telehandler to move materials, plant and equipment safely across site * Coordinating daily work activities and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently * Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations * Managing material deliveries, storage and site logistics * Assisting with loading, unloading and distributing materials where required * Ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained at all times * Carrying out daily briefings and promoting a strong health & safety culture * Monitoring productivity and ensuring works are completed to programme * Completing site records and reporting progress to the Site Management team Requirements * Previous experience as a Working Supervisor, General Foreman or Supervisor on construction, renewable energy or infrastructure projects * Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Ticket (Essential) * Valid CSCS Card (Essential) * SSSTS preferred (SMSTS advantageous) * Ability to supervise operatives whilst remaining hands-on throughout the working day * Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Full UK driving licence desirable * Must be able to provide two strong, recent work references If you're an experienced Working Supervisor with a Telehandler ticket looking to be part of a landmark energy infrastructure project, we'd like to hear from you.
