Internal Sales/Customer Service Contact

About the Company We’re partnering with a well-established, family-run distributor of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment to recruit an internal sales / customer service representative for their growing UK team. With over 40 years in the industry and an annual turnover of £8M–£10M, this business is renowned for its exceptional customer service, product expertise, and strong supplier relationships. They serve mechanical and electrical contractors and HVAC professionals nationwide, offering a flexible, responsive service within a supportive, family-style culture. The Role * Customer inquiries and order processing * Sales support / business development with existing clients * Product knowledge would be preferred but isn't essential * Co-ordinate with internal teams and suppliers * Dealing with any customer returns * Liase with the warehouse team to produce accurate stock levels and timely deliveries * Maintain accurate information on the CRM system * Prepare sales reports * Exceptional customer service with a "go the extra mile attitude" Package & Benefits * Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 * Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) * Pension: 3% employer / 5% employee * Holidays: 20 days annual leave (rising 1 extra per year worked to 25) + your birthday off + statutory holidays * Friendly, supportive company culture with a personal touch
