The Britain Palestine Project (BPP) is seeking applications for the Just Peace Fellowship – a unique 12-month programme designed for parliamentary, civil society and trade union advisers who want to develop practical skills in peacebuilding, international law and public policy.

\n

This is an opportunity to join a cross-party, cross-sector community committed to advancing peace with justice, security and equal rights for Palestinians and Israelis.

\n

About the Fellowship

\n

The Just Peace Fellowship combines expert teaching, mentoring and applied learning to help participants translate knowledge into practical influence within their professional roles.

\n

Over twelve months, Fellows will explore:

\n

\n
• Peacebuilding and conflict transformation
\n
• International law and accountability
\n
• Nonviolent approaches to security
\n
• The UK's role in international conflict and diplomacy
\n
• Practical policy development and public engagement
\n

\n

Participants will become part of a growing network of leaders working across politics, civil society and trade unions to promote informed, constructive approaches to conflict resolution.

\n

\n

\n

Who should apply?

We are looking for up to 25 Fellows from across the UK who are currently:

\n

\n
• Parliamentary advisers
\n
• Political staff
\n
• Civil society professionals
\n
• Trade union advisers
\n
• Individuals working in public policy or advocacy with an interest in peacebuilding
\n

\n

Applicants should be curious, collaborative and committed to strengthening dialogue across political difference.

\n

The programme requires approximately five to nine hours per month, making it compatible with full-time employment.

Location

\n

The Fellowship is UK-based, connecting Westminster, Edinburgh and constituencies across the country through a blended programme of online and in-person learning. There is also a flagstone trip to the region at the end of the Fellowship programme.
