Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Location: Cheshire / Stockport (Site-Based)Office: WilmslowSalary: £33,000 - £42,000 + Car Allowance + Discretionary Bonus + Pension + HolidaysThe Opportunity Lester Lloyd is recruiting on behalf of a highly respected civil engineering contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering highways and infrastructure projects across Cheshire, Stockport and the surrounding areas.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, our client is looking to appoint an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team.This is a predominantly site-based role, with regular visits to the company's Wilmslow office. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of highways, infrastructure and Section 278 projects, working alongside experienced commercial professionals who are committed to supporting your career development.Key Responsibilities Assist with the commercial management of highways and civil engineering projects.Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and account administration.Monitor project costs, forecasts and commercial reporting.Produce cost reports and assist with monthly CVRs.Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager with the commercial delivery of multiple projects.Work closely with site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.Assist with contract administration under NEC and/or JCT forms of contract.About You To be considered for this role, you will have:Experience working as an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor.Previous highways and Section 278 (S278) project experience this is essential.A background within civil engineering or infrastructure contracting.Good commercial awareness with excellent communication and organisational skills.The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a busy commercial team.A Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent qualification (or working towards one) is advantageous.What's on Offer £33,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.Car Allowance.Discretionary Bonus.Company Pension.Generous Holiday Allowance.Genuine career progression within a growing and successful contractor.The opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of highways and infrastructure projects across the North West.Join a business with an outstanding reputation, excellent staff retention and a strong pipeline of secured work.Apply For a confidential discussion or to apply, please contact:Alexandra SmithLester Lloyd Construction Recruitment07980 006 436TPBN1_UKTJ
