Dolphin Homes is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Hill Lodge , our residential service in Bedhampton, Havant , supporting individuals with physical and learning disabilities.This is a night shift position working a 2-week rolling rota:Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, SundayWeek 2 Tuesday, Wednesday, ThursdayPrevious experience in a care setting is required for this senior role. However, we are committed to supporting your ongoing development and will fund further qualifications to help you thrive in your career.What Will You Be Doing? As a Senior Support Worker at Hill Lodge, you will not only provide direct, hands-on support to the individuals we care for, but also play a key leadership role within the team. No two nights are the same, and your contribution will be felt by both the people we support and the colleagues you help to guide.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Providing personal care and supporting daily routines overnightCoordinating and contributing to individual care plansMentoring and supporting newer members of the care teamEnsuring the smooth running of the service during night shiftsActing as the key link between the care team and managementAssisting with dietary plans and individual needsTeaching life skills to promote independenceSupporting individuals within the local Havant and Bedhampton communityAccompanying service users on activities and outingsAnd the activities are genuinely something special:Theme parks, Swimming, Horse riding, Cinema, UK and abroad holidays, Arts and crafts, Concerts, Cycling, Baking and much more!Why Dolphin Homes?
