\nA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing consultancy based in Manchester. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within the geoenvironmental sector, working on a variety of contaminated land, ground investigation and environmental consultancy projects.
\nThe successful candidate will join a supportive team and gain practical experience across all stages of geoenvironmental projects, including site investigations, contaminated land assessments, environmental due diligence and technical reporting.
\nThis position would suit a motivated graduate with a background in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience or a related discipline who is looking to build a long-term career within geoenvironmental consultancy.
\nThe Role:

- Supporting contaminated land assessments and environmental due diligence projects \n
- Assisting with Phase 1 desk studies and site investigations \n
- Undertaking site visits, ground investigations and soil logging \n
- Collecting and interpreting environmental and geological data \n
- Preparing technical reports and project documentation \n
- Supporting remediation and risk assessment projects \n
- Working closely with senior consultants and project teams \n
The Ideal Candidate:

- Degree qualified in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience or a related subject \n
- MSc in a relevant discipline is preferred \n
- An interest in contaminated land and geoenvironmental consultancy \n
- Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills \n
- Keen to develop technical skills and gain hands-on site experience \n
- Full UK driving licence is desirable \n
