A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing consultancy based in Manchester. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within the geoenvironmental sector, working on a variety of contaminated land, ground investigation and environmental consultancy projects.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team and gain practical experience across all stages of geoenvironmental projects, including site investigations, contaminated land assessments, environmental due diligence and technical reporting.

This position would suit a motivated graduate with a background in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience or a related discipline who is looking to build a long-term career within geoenvironmental consultancy.

The Role:

• Supporting contaminated land assessments and environmental due diligence projects
\n
• Assisting with Phase 1 desk studies and site investigations
\n
• Undertaking site visits, ground investigations and soil logging
\n
• Collecting and interpreting environmental and geological data
\n
• Preparing technical reports and project documentation
\n
• Supporting remediation and risk assessment projects
\n
• Working closely with senior consultants and project teams
\n

The Ideal Candidate:

\n
• Degree qualified in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience or a related subject
\n
• MSc in a relevant discipline is preferred
\n
• An interest in contaminated land and geoenvironmental consultancy
\n
• Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Keen to develop technical skills and gain hands-on site experience
\n
• Full UK driving licence is desirable
\n
