Technical Services Manager – Flagship Central London Building Location: Central London Salary: £80,000 + discretionary bonus Contract: Permanent Employer: Leading global facilities management business Nexus Careers is working with a leading global facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Technical Services Manager for a prestigious flagship building in Central London. This is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for the delivery of mechanical and electrical engineering services across a complex commercial property. The successful candidate must come from a strong technical M&E or building services background and be comfortable leading engineering teams, managing contractors and working closely with senior client stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Lead the day-to-day delivery of technical and engineering services. * Manage and develop the on-site engineering team. * Ensure all mechanical and electrical systems operate safely and reliably. * Oversee planned, reactive and statutory maintenance activities. * Manage specialist subcontractors and service providers. * Ensure compliance with permits, RAMS and safe systems of work. * Monitor engineering performance against KPIs and service levels. * Manage technical incidents, escalations and root-cause investigations. * Support lifecycle planning, asset replacement and improvement projects. * Maintain accurate compliance, maintenance and operational records. * Produce reports and present engineering updates to the client. * Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and service delivery. * Manage engineering budgets, quotations and expenditure. * Maintain strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholders. Candidate Requirements * Strong technical background within mechanical, electrical or building services engineering. * Previous experience in a Technical Services Manager, Engineering Manager or similar position. * Experience working within a prestigious commercial, corporate or critical environment. * Strong understanding of M&E infrastructure and statutory compliance. * Proven experience leading engineers and managing subcontractors. * Good commercial and financial awareness. * Strong client and stakeholder management skills. * Relevant technical or engineering qualifications. * Confident, professional and capable of operating within a flagship environment.
