\nWe are investing in our in-house electrical capability to support a major programme of 5-year electrical testing and inspection (EICRs) across our housing stock, alongside upcoming heating and hot water system lifecycle replacement projects.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician with strong testing and inspection experience to join a growing team, helping us deliver a safer, more efficient service for our residents while reducing reliance on external contractors.

\nAbout the Role
\nAs an Electrician, you will deliver a high-quality service across our residential properties, with a key focus on electrical compliance, testing and inspection.
\nThe role will involve completing EICRs, carrying out inspection, testing and certification activities, undertaking remedial works, fault finding, repairs and installations, and supporting planned heating and hot water system upgrade programmes. Working within occupied homes, you will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with current regulations and company standards, while using mobile technology to manage work activities, maintaining van stock levels, and providing an excellent customer experience.
\nThis is a varied position that combines compliance, responsive maintenance and planned investment works, offering the opportunity to apply and further develop your technical expertise.
\nAbout You
\nWe're looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and maintaining safe, compliant homes. You'll have experience in domestic electrical repairs, installations, fault finding, testing and inspection, including the completion of EICRs, certification and remedial works within occupied properties. You'll be able to work independently, manage your own workload and deliver excellent customer service. Experience within social housing, compliance programmes or planned investment works would be advantageous.
\nEssential Qualifications
\nYou must hold:
\nLevel 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation Buildings & Structures) or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment).
\nPlus either Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations or City & Guilds 2394, together with City & Guilds 2395.
\nBS7671 Electrical Installations (18th Edition).
\nSkills & Experience
\nYou'll have proven experience carrying out electrical repairs, installations, fault finding, testing and inspection within domestic properties, including EICRs and certification work. You should have a strong understanding of electrical compliance requirements and current regulations, with the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of health, safety and customer service. An ECS Gold Card and experience within social housing, cyclical compliance programmes or heating and hot water replacement projects would be advantageous.
\nYou must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months, as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
