Your new companyWe are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a busy responsive repairs team working across the Widnes and surrounding areas on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking for a long-term temporary contract with consistent work and an immediate start.Your new role

  • Carrying out all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix joinery
    • \n
  • Hanging and repairing internal and external doors
    • \n
  • Repairs to frames, skirting boards, architraves and flooring
    • \n
  • Kitchen repairs, replacements and installations
    • \n
  • UPVC window and door repairs
    • \n
  • Fire door maintenance and repairs
    • \n
  • General property maintenance and reactive repair works
    • \n
  • Completing basic multi-trade tasks such as patch plastering, tiling and minor plumbing repairs
    • \n
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying the most effective repair solution
    • \n
  • Recording completed works using PDA or mobile technology
    • \n
  • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
    • \n
  • Providing excellent customer service within tenanted properties
    • \n

What you'll need to succeed

    \n
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Joinery
    • \n
  • Previous experience working within social housing or responsive repairs
    • \n
  • Multi-skilled maintenance experience desirable
    • \n
  • Full UK Driving Licence
    • \n
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
    • \n
