Employee Relations Specialist

A London based NHS organisation is looking for interim Employee Relations Specialists to join them on an initial 3-6 month+ basis.

The purpose of these roles is to provide additional employee relations expertise alongside the current ER function during a fast-paced challenging time for the Trust.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Provide sound advice and support on all areas of employee relations (sickness absence, grievance, disciplinary etc)
\n
• Build relationships with managers across the Trust, and look to upskill these managers in their handling of employee relations casework
\n
• Work within a project team to drive down sickness absence rates across the Trust, long and short term
\n
• Evaluate and update necessary policies from an ER perspective where possible
\n
• Lead on complex cases across the organisation, particularly grievances which have increased across the organisation
\n
• Work well alongside the internal ER teams, working together to ensure
\n

The successful candidate will have:

\n
• CIPD qualified
\n
• Public sector (ideally heavily unionised environment) exposure
\n
• Ability to operate calmly and at pace in difficult circumstances
\n
• Able to build relationships with managers at all levels effectively
\n
• Outcome oriented attitude to making a difference
\n
• High levels of professionalism
\n
