Supply Chain Analyst

Location: South ManchesterSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established FMCG manufacturer in South Manchester who is looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst to their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical supply chain professional who enjoys working with data to improve performance, support planning activities and drive operational efficiencies across the supply chain.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you'll be responsible for analysing supply chain performance, identifying trends and providing insight to support business decisions. You'll work closely with planning, procurement, logistics and operations to improve service levels, optimise inventory and enhance overall supply chain performance. A large part of this role is stakeholder management and relationship building so previous experience with this is necessary.

• Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
\n
• Produce reports, KPIs and dashboards to support business performance
\n
• Monitor inventory levels and support forecasting and planning activities
\n
• Work with procurement, logistics and operations to improve supply chain efficiency
\n
• Support supplier performance analysis and reporting
\n
• Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
\n
• Maintain accurate data within ERP systems and ensure reporting integrity
\n

• Previous experience in a Supply Chain Analyst or similar analytical role
\n
• Experience within an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
\n
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
\n
• Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP or similar
\n
• Confident producing reports and presenting data-driven insights
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
\n
• A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
\n
