Join us, and get better with every move.As our Vehicle Procurement Category Manager, you'll play a leading role in shaping Ayvens' vehicle purchasing strategy, working closely with manufacturers, dealers and key business stakeholders to secure the right vehicles on the best possible commercial terms.This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key manufacturer relationships, identify commercial opportunities and influence purchasing decisions that support both our customers and the wider business.Vehicle Procurement Category Manager Key ResponsibilitiesManaging relationships with vehicle manufacturers and key supply partnersNegotiating supply agreements, commercial terms and rebate opportunitiesWorking with colleagues across Commercial, Operations and Asset Risk to ensure vehicle supply meets business needsIdentifying tactical and bulk purchasing opportunities to support business performanceActing as the main point of contact for manufacturer escalations and issue resolutionMonitoring market trends, manufacturer activity and vehicle availability to identify risks and opportunitiesProducing insight and analysis to support vehicle purchasing decisionsManaging manufacturer performance through regular reviews and scorecardsSupporting stock management activities to ensure vehicles are sourced and managed effectivelyEnsuring procurement activities are carried out in line with business controls and governance requirementsLooking for opportunities to improve processes and ways of working across the vehicle supply chainSkills and experience requiredExperience working in the automotive, OEMs, dealerships, leasing or vehicle supply industryA strong commercial background, ideally within account management, procurement or supplier managementExcellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skillsConfidence negotiating with suppliers and influencing outcomesStrong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support decisionsCommercial awareness and a good understanding of market dynamicsA proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and presentation skillsKnowledge of vehicle supply chains and fleet operationsExperience working in a regulated environmentA track record of improving processes or delivering changeWhat we offerRewards & Financial BenefitsSalary:£48,000 - £58,000 per annum, Competitive pension scheme , Annual salary review and bonus scheme , EV company car , Give As You Earn (GAYE) scheme ,Employee referral scheme (£1,000), Retail discounts programme , GymFlex membership options , Cycle to Work schemeHealth & WellbeingPrivate Medical Insurance , Life Assurance , Health assessment options , Travel insurance , Dental insurance , Critical illness cover , Personal accident insurance .Time Off & WorkLife Balance25 days annual leave + an additional Celebration Day , 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, no weekends, Holiday buy & sell scheme , Volunteer days , Time allocated for personal development , Study support (where applicable) .Workplace & On - Site FacilitiesFree parking (limited ) , EV charging points , Bike storage & shower facilities , Complimentary breakfast , Staff and social eventsStudies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for an opportunity unless they exactly meet the criteria specified.
