Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:3am to 2:pm (27.5 hours per week)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chef Manager to lead the catering service within our friendly residential care home in Lutterworth, supporting 24 residents with nutritious, high-quality meals every day.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is passionate about food, enjoys building relationships with residents, and is seeking a fantastic work-life balance with no evening or weekend work.

\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Plan and prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents.
\n
• Cater for individual dietary requirements, allergies, and special nutritional needs.
\n
• Manage food ordering, stock control, and kitchen budgets.
\n
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and care home regulations.
\n
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
\n
• Lead and organise the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
\n
• Build positive relationships with residents and staff, ensuring meal times are enjoyable and person-centred.
\n

\nWhat We're Looking For\n
\n

\n
• Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar catering leadership role.
\n
• Care home, healthcare, or residential setting experience is essential.
\n
• Good knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and texture-modified meals.
\n
• Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 qualification.
\n
• Strong organisational and stock management skills.
\n
• A caring, compassionate, and resident-focused approach.
\n
• Reliability and the ability to work independently.
\n
