\n Pertemps is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a 6–8 week temporary assignment with a leading distribution client based just outside Highbridge.

\n 🕔 Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday

• Start times between 05:00 - 06:00

• 6–8 week temporary assignment

• Starting Monday 10th August

🚚 The Role\n

\n
• Driving a modern Class 1 curtain-sided vehicle
  
  
\n
• Warehouse-to-warehouse deliveries
  
  
\n
• No handball – all loads are forklift loaded and unloaded
  
  
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing delivery paperwork
  
  
\n
• Delivering safely, professionally and on time
  
  
\n

'05; What You'll Need\n

\n
• Full UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
  
  
\n
• Valid Driver CPC
  
  
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
  
  
\n
• A professional and reliable attitude
  
  
\n
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport regulations
  
  
\n
• Own transport is essential, as the depot is located just outside Highbridge and is not accessible by public transport
  
  
\n
