Accounts Senior

Crowe Watson Recruitment is proud to be supporting a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Bridgnorth in their search for an experienced Accounts Senior, offering flexible working, a company pension, and much more. The successful candidate will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and providing a high standard of service while playing an active role in the development of more junior members of the team.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Preparing statutory and non-statutory accounts for a range of clients across various sectors
\n
• Managing a portfolio of clients from start to finish, liaising directly where required
\n
• Reviewing the work of junior team members and offering guidance and support
\n
• Identifying opportunities to add value and improve efficiencies for clients
\n
• Assisting with ad hoc projects and technical queries as they arise
\n

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\n
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
\n
• ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
\n
• Strong technical accounts preparation skills across a range of client sizes and sectors
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
\n
• A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
\n
