Wembley, London £21.41 PAYE / £28.19 Umbrella per hour Full Time | Office Based Immediate Start | Ongoing Temporary Contract

We are seeking an experienced Housing Resolutions Officer with a strong background in homelessness and temporary accommodation to join a busy local authority team in Wembley.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support homeless households living in temporary accommodation to secure settled housing.
\n
• Provide housing options advice on social housing, private rented sector and intermediate housing.
\n
• Conduct suitability reviews and fear of violence investigations.
\n
• Liaise with accommodation providers to resolve tenancy and support issues.
\n
• Monitor housing register bidding activity and assist residents with housing applications.
\n
• Signpost clients to employment, training, support, children's and adult services.
\n
• Ensure all temporary accommodation offers comply with homelessness legislation and suitability requirements.
\n

Requirements:

• Proven experience in homelessness, housing options or temporary accommodation services.
\n
• Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation and housing allocations.
\n
• Excellent case management and customer service skills.
\n
• Local authority experience desirable.
\n
• Basic DBS check required.
\n
