You will join a busy, growing team where your expertise is valued and your career ambitions are supported. Reporting to the Head of Corporate and Commercial Department, you will handle a diverse caseload of commercial matters and develop your career in a firm that values innovation and flexibility. You will benefit from the guidance of experienced colleagues while also having the independence to manage your own files.

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
\n
• Advising on terms and conditions, IT & e-commerce, and data protection
\n
• Managing agency, manufacturing and supply agreements
\n
• Handling collaboration and joint venture agreements
\n
• Drafting and advising on software licenses and development agreements
\n
• Working on franchise agreements
\n
• Undertaking due diligence for a variety of clients
\n
• Participating in business development and marketing activities
\n
• Providing assistance with corporate transactions as required
\n
• Taking on flexible “ad hoc” tasks as part of a team
\n

• Qualified solicitor with ideally 4 years+ PQE in non-contentious commercial work
\n
• Demonstrable experience with complex commercial and some corporate transactional matters
\n
• Ideally holding relevant experience in IP and Trademark work
\n
• Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
\n
• Self-motivated, flexible, and willing to embrace new challenges
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and high professional standards
\n
• Proven track record of excellent client care
\n
• Enjoy collaborating and participating in business development activities
\n

This role can be based at either Gloucester or North Bristol, with regular office attendance expected. Full-time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:30pm, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break). Part-time hours and hybrid working may be considered to support your work-life flexibility.
