Interim Team Manager - Family Help Team - Bexley Council

Our client, Bexley Council is seeking an agency Team Manager for its Family Help Service.

This post will last at least 3 months and is paid at £45.20 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

• The Team Manager – Family Help Service will provide operational leadership, management oversight and strategic direction for the Family Help Service operating within the Families First framework.
\n
• The post holder will ensure that children, young people and families receive timely, coordinated and effective support that improves outcomes, safeguards children and strengthens family resilience through a whole-family, strengths-based approach.
\n
• The Team Manager will be accountable for service performance, safeguarding standards, quality assurance, workforce development, resource management and the effective delivery of Family Help services.
\n
• Working closely with Senior Practitioners who provide day-to-day practice leadership, reflective supervision and support to practitioners, the Team Manager will ensure high-quality, relationship-based and outcome-focused interventions are delivered consistently across the service.
\n
• The Team Manager will work closely with the Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT), ensuring effective partnership working, information-sharing, risk management and safeguarding decision-making across services.
\n

Requirements of the role:

\n
• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
\n
• Must have significant experience of managing staff in a children’s social care / safeguarding / child protection setting
\n
