Quality Engineer

World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit a Quality Engineer / Inspector on an initial 12 month contract. Rate: £45.00 per hourLocation: BoltonHybrid / Remote working: 4 days onsite / 1 day at homeContract: 37 Hours per weekOvertime: Hours worked over 37 hours per week will be calculated at ‘time and a quarter’Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)Job Description:The department are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Engineer / Inspector to join the Quality Team providing support to the Manufacturing teams in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for:\n

• Frontline provision of non-conformance management supporting the Manufacturing functions, including the administration of non-conformities and containment activities
\n
• Facilitation of non-conformance meetings across the Shop Floor, providing information concerning products and escalation of issues
\n
• Operational Surveillance and Certification Monitoring across the Manufacturing areas
\n
• Gemba Walks
\n
• As built verification checks
\n

Experience / Skills:\n

\n
• Experienced Quality Inspector/Engineer with relevant work experience
\n
• Working knowledge of SAP
\n
• Good planning and organising skills to ensure multiple tasks are prioritised and monitored to deliver set objectives
\n
• Highly self-motivated and demonstrate a determination and persistence to deliver results despite obstacles and setbacks
