The Opportunity
\nWe're working with a growing and highly respected financial services organisation seeking an experienced Pensions Operations Administrator to join their Liverpool-based team.
\nThis is a hands-on operational role supporting the administration of pension schemes, with a particular focus on SIPP and SSAS arrangements. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with FCA regulatory requirements.
\nThis is not a customer service or call centre position. We're looking for someone who has genuine experience processing pension administration work within a regulated financial services environment.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Process and maintain operational changes across pension schemes \n
- Support the administration of Terms of Business (TOB) agreements \n
- Manage adviser and agency changes accurately and within agreed SLAs \n
- Maintain accurate client, adviser and scheme records \n
- Assist with complaints administration, investigations and tracking \n
- Monitor workflows, case queues and outstanding actions \n
- Ensure all activities are completed in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures \n
- Support internal audits, quality assurance and compliance activities \n
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and exceptions \n
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational projects \n
- Liaise with advisers, clients and third parties to obtain information and documentation \n
Essential Requirements

- Previous experience working within Pensions Administration \n
- Strong understanding of SIPP and/or SSAS pensions \n
- Experience working within a regulated Financial Services environment \n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy \n
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively \n
- Strong administrative and organisational skills \n
- Experience maintaining accurate records and audit trails \n
- Confident communicating with advisers, clients and internal stakeholders \n

\nCandidates must have previous Pensions Administration experience with SIPP and/or SSAS exposure. Applications from candidates with only customer service, contact centre, banking, investment operations or general administration backgrounds will not be considered.
