HV Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer Norfolk | Hybrid available post-probation | Permanent Our client, a growing engineering specialist, is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to work on projects spanning 11kV to 400kV for a range of clients. The Role You'll take ownership of electrical designs from concept through to construction support, including: HV substation design across the 11kV-400kV range Protection and control system design, schematics and wiring diagrams Cable schedules, sizing and earthing design Equipment specification (transformers, switchgear) Attending design reviews and client meetings Supporting procurement and commissioning About You 5+ years' experience in HV electrical design, ideally across 11kV-400kV substations Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Solid grounding in protection and control philosophy Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN (or similar) Confident liaising with clients and managing multiple work strands Desirable IEC knowledge renewable energy or BESS project exposure.
