Mobile Mechanical Engineer Birmingham Up to £40,000 per annum plus van, fuel card, private healthcare, call out, overtime We are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to complete electrical PPM and reactive works on commercial and education estates across the Midlands. Permanent position paying circa £38 - £40,000 plus overtime. On-call with standby payment. Mon-Fri days 40 hours per week. Van and fuel card supplied, private healthcare (single cover). Main duties: Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance relating primarily to Mechanical Building Services Plant and System’s in-line with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance. Maintenance, fault finding and repair of a range of mechanical plant, working to current standards and the contract specification. Maintenance and monitoring of domestic hot and cold-water services - L8 awareness (domestic water systems). Submitting concise & accurate reports of work carried out & time spent on tasks. Ownership of site logbooks and record keeping for your designated sites. Providing details for further recommended works, including all the required information for office personnel to action. Support the wider team with out of hours tasks such as FCUs and emergency light testing.
