Traffic Management Operative

Red Rock Consultants are currently working with our well established Traffic Management Company based in Corby for both experienced and trainee Traffic Management Operatives.

For this role you will need to hold a minimum of a TTMBC and a Gate Person Course alongside an Occupational Health

This is a self-employed position so you will need to have a UTR number for CIS purposes.

Starting rate for trainees is £14.45

Work is regular and on-going and there is an opportunity for full time roles with the client also.

Payment is each Friday (one week in arears)

Working hours

Day shifts have start times between 0400-0700 and are paid at a minimum of 8hrs per day

Night shifts have start times from 1700 onwards and are paid at a minimum of 10hrs per night

Weekend shifts are paid at a minimum of 10hrs

All jobs are job and knock due to the nature of the traffic management industry, meaning we can give you a start time but not a finish time

General Duties (including but not limited to)

• Assisting in general yard duties

• Loading and unloading vehicles
\n
• Setting up temporary traffic management systems
\n
• Maintaining temporary traffic management systems
\n
• Removal of temporary traffic management systems
\n
• All of the above include using cones, barriers and signs and may include some heavy lifting
\n

Ideal Traffic Management Operatives will hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points with previous experience driving a 3.5T vehicle (however this is not essential)
