*Buyer**An exciting opportunity with a successful manufacturing business has become available.*We are working with a leading manufacturing business who are looking for a *Buyer* to join their team. The successful candidate be responsible for ensuring parts, materials and components required for production are available.*About the Company** A leading manufacturer of a premium product* Continually investing in their facilities and employee development* Working with a global customer base*The Role** Source for various parts, components and materials for production* Negotiate prices and lead times for products and secure favourable terms for the business* Liaise with suppliers and schedule deliveries according to production schedule* Ensure all specification requirements are met for purchased products* Develop, improve and build strong supplier relationships* Monitor supplier performance and address any reoccurring issues* Track progress and manage goods sent out for rework* Managing call off orders for long lead time items* Other relevant duties*Essential Criteria** A minimum (2) years + experience in a purchasing / procurement role* Excellent communication and negotiation skills* The ability to work both alone and as part of a team* Previous experience in working with a MRP system* Willingness to learn and develop skills*What you will receive** Full-time permanent employment* Competitive salary* Health care package* Early finish on a Friday*What you need to do now*This truly is a great role, if you’re interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or call 07591120841INDFINPay: £30,000.00-£35,000.
