Commercial Accounting ManagerLocation: Stokenchurch (Hybrid)Salary: Competitive + BenefitsThe OpportunityRobert Half is partnering with a successful and growing organisation to recruit a Commercial Accounting Manager to join its finance team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded accountant looking to play a key role in financial reporting, business partnering and commercial decision-making. Working closely with operational stakeholders, you'll provide financial insight, support budgeting and forecasting, and help drive business performance across multiple cost centres and business units.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly management accounts, including revenue, cost of sales, gross profit, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities and key variances against budget and forecast.Partner with operational stakeholders to prepare budgets and ensure profitability is maintained.Support forecasting, financial planning and commercial decision-making through insightful reporting and analysis.Prepare financial commentary for senior leadership.Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.Support month-end, year-end and audit processes.Drive continuous improvements to financial reporting, controls and processes.Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic business initiatives.About YouPart-qualified ACCA or CIMA (or actively studying towards qualification).Previous experience within a commercial accounting or management accounting role.Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.Confident communicating financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with ERP systems; PeopleSoft or Planning Analytics experience is advantageous but not essential.What's on Offer?Competitive salary and benefits package.Hybrid working.Study support and ongoing professional development.Genuine career progression within a growing organisation.Exposure to senior stakeholders and commercial decision-making.Supportive, collaborative finance team with opportunities to make a real impact.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
