This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing a new Freight Account Programme, driving new business, strengthening customer relationships, and contributing to continued business growth.The RoleAs a Freight Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing and developing customer accounts, and delivering exceptional service to clients. Working closely with the operations team, you'll help ensure a seamless freight experience while supporting the continued expansion of the business.BenefitsHoliday loyalty schemeLearning and development supportInclusive workplace with employee resource groupsFlexible working optionsCompany healthcare schemeEnhanced maternity and paternity packageSick pay schemeBike2Work schemeCar allowancePerformance-related bonusKey ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and face-to-face appointments.Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, consistently converting opportunities into new business.Conduct effective in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers.Develop, maintain, and grow customer accounts through excellent relationship management.Work closely with the operations team to ensure the smooth delivery of freight services.Achieve sales targets while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.About YouWe're looking for someone who has:Proven success in cold calling and winning new business.Strong face-to-face sales and account management experience.The ability to build, retain, and grow long-term customer relationships.A resilient, commercially minded, organised, and target-driven approach.Previous experience within freight, logistics, transport, or a similar sales environment (preferred).A full UK driving licence.No formal qualifications are required—experience, attitude, and the ability to deliver results are what matter most.
