IT Business Analyst

IT Business AnalystLondon Up to £650 per day (Outside IR35)Initial 3 month termA leading construction engineering organisation is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a range of high-profile business and technology transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work across digital transformation, enterprise applications, cyber security, AI and operational improvement programmes during a significant period of business change and growth.Working closely with senior stakeholders, project managers, technical teams and third-party partners, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, documenting requirements and ensuring technology solutions deliver measurable business value.Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
\n
• Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders across the business to understand current and future state processes.
\n
• Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, process maps, user stories and functional specifications.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve, standardise and automate business processes.
\n
• Support the delivery of digital transformation and technology change initiatives.
\n
• Work closely with technical teams to evaluate solution options and ensure business requirements are met.
\n
• Support solution design, testing, business readiness, training and user adoption activities.
\n
• Assist with change impact assessments and ensure successful implementation of new processes and systems.
\n

Required Experience:

\n
• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within IT, digital transformation or business change environments.
\n
• Strong experience gathering and documenting requirements for complex technology projects.
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
\n
• Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, HR, Finance, Microsoft 365 or Service Management platforms.
\n
• Strong business process mapping and process improvement experience.
\n
• Experience supporting infrastructure, cyber security, enterprise application or digital transformation programmes.
\n
• Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into business-focused solutions.
\n
• Experience of AI, automation or process optimisation initiatives would be advantageous.
\n
• Desirable Qualifications
\n
• BCS, IIBA or equivalent Business Analysis qualification.
\n
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
\n
• Agile Business Analyst, AgilePM, Scrum or SAFe certification.
\n
• PRINCE2 or Change Management qualifications.
\n
