As the exclusive recruitment partner, Cast UK is supporting the search for a Product Support Advisor to join their team based in Tamworth.

About the Role

As a Product Support Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for product-related queries, supporting both the sales and purchasing teams with expert advice and accurate product information. You'll manage the new product approval process, maintain product data, liaise with suppliers, and help identify opportunities to improve the product range. The role also involves analysing product performance, supporting portfolio optimisation, and ensuring the business has the information needed to deliver outstanding customer service and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

• To become expert in some product categories - ensuring knowledge of products, suppliers and data to be able to support the purchasing team and sales teams.
\n
• To be the first point of contact for the sales teams for questions and details regarding existing and new products.
\n
• To be the driving force of the New Product Request Process
\n
• To provide internal support to one or more of the purchasing team
\n
• To drive the customers and sales teams to products with the most commercial benefit wherever possible and ensure our competitor product database is maintained to provide a competitive edge.

Skills & Experience

\n
• The ability to plan, prepare and organise projects for successful completion.
\n
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Great communication skills with the ability to listen, understand and analyse information.
\n
• A good understanding of Excel is essential.
\n
