Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Lab Technician in Rural, Oregon!

Shift: (4x 10 hours shifts, M-Th then Tue-Fri (0600-1630 or 0700-1730)

Essential Duties
\n Perform laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood bank.
\n Collect blood specimens and perform phlebotomy procedures.
\n Process, analyze, and report laboratory results accurately and promptly.
\n Perform quality control procedures and instrument maintenance.
\n Troubleshoot instrumentation and testing issues.
\n Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and facility policies.
\n Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours laboratory coverage.
\n Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to support patient care.

Qualifications
\n AS/BS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related laboratory science program.
\n Meets CLIA ‘88 requirements for testing personnel for blood banking, chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis.
\n Current ASCP certification (or equivalent certification preferred).
\n Ability to work independently in a small rural hospital environment.
\n Strong communication and customer service skills.
