Laborer

Western Guernsey Regional Water is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer to join our team serving communities throughout the region. This position plays an important role in supporting the daily operation and maintenance of our water distribution system while helping ensure reliable water service for our customers.

• Read and record water meter data accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with water line repairs, maintenance projects, and emergency service restoration.
• Support daily operational activities related to the water distribution system.
• Perform general labor duties, including operating tools and equipment, digging, lifting, and working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company standards.
• Respond to after-hours and emergency situations as needed.

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and work outdoors year-round.
• Willingness to work overtime is required.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a commitment to teamwork.
• Experience in water utility operations, construction, or related labor work is helpful but not required.
