Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Washington State
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Washington Teaching Certification (or willingness to obtain, if required)
• Demonstrated experience working within school settings, preferably with high school age students
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in high school students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy services onsite, adapting interventions to fit student needs and goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and outcomes
• Participate in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development as required
• Serve as a resource to other educators and staff for effective communication strategies and supports
