Customer Support Specialist

Location: Swedesboro, NJ

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Work Environment: Manufacturing/Office Setting (Not a Call Center)

Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to support spare parts ordering, customer service, and after-sales operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer support experience, order processing knowledge, and the ability to work with technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding spare parts and product support
  • Prepare and process spare parts quotations
  • Enter and manage customer spare parts orders
  • Place part orders with suppliers and track delivery timelines
  • Monitor order status and provide updates to customers
  • Generate customer invoices and maintain accurate records
  • Locate and identify spare parts using electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Track warranty items shipped to customers and monitor returns
  • Review service and trip reports from field engineers to identify parts requirements
  • Verify spare parts pricing and compare supplier quotes to system pricing
  • Support Purchasing and After-Sales teams with administrative tasks and documentation
Qualifications
  • Customer service or customer support experience
  • Experience with order processing and quote preparation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, or technical documentation
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/order management systems preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
