Electrical QA/QC for a Data Center

Location: Covington, GA
Project Type: Mission Critical / Data Center Construction
Schedule: Expected 50–60+ hours per week
Duration: Long-term project
We are seeking experienced QA/QC Electrical Inspectors to support the construction and commissioning of a large-scale data center project in Covington, Georgia. These individuals will be responsible for verifying that electrical installations are completed in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, NEC standards, approved drawings, and client quality standards.
\nThis is not a supervisory role. The QA/QC Inspector will work alongside field crews, foremen, superintendents, and project management teams to inspect, document, and verify installation quality throughout all phases of construction.Essential Responsibilities

- Perform quality inspections of electrical installations throughout the project lifecycle. \n
- Verify installations comply with project specifications, approved drawings, NEC requirements, and manufacturer instructions. \n
- Review electrical systems including: \n
- \n
- Conduit systems (EMT, Rigid, PVC) \n
- Cable tray and ladder tray systems \n
- Busway / Bus Duct installations \n
- Switchgear \n
- Transformers \n
- UPS systems \n
- PDUs \n
- RPPs \n
- Generator systems \n
- Grounding and bonding systems \n
- Medium and low voltage distribution systems \n
\n - Inspect electrical terminations and verify proper installation methods. \n
- Verify torque requirements are completed and documented according to manufacturer specifications. \n
- Confirm correct conductor sizing, labeling, routing, and support methods. \n
- Review installation quality for feeders, branch circuits, and equipment connections. \n
- Identify deficiencies and generate punch lists. \n
- Track corrective actions through completion. \n
- Document inspections, deficiencies, and resolutions using project software and reporting systems. \n
- Participate in quality walks with clients, contractors, and project leadership. \n
- Support turnover and commissioning activities. \n
- Assist in maintaining quality records and turnover documentation. \n
Candidates with experience inspecting or installing the following systems are highly preferred:

- Switchgear lineups \n

- Generator systems \n
- Mission critical electrical distribution \n
- Grounding and bonding grids \n
- Data center commissioning activities \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Journeyman Electrician background strongly preferred. \n
- Previous QA/QC experience on commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or data center projects preferred. \n

\n - Strong understanding of NEC requirements. \n
- Experience documenting inspections and deficiencies. \n

- Strong communication and organizational skills. \n
Preferred Qualifications

- Data Center experience \n
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 \n
- Commissioning or turnover experience \n
- Previous experience performing quality inspections on mission critical projects \n
- Experience verifying torque documentation, equipment alignment, grounding, labeling, and installation standards \n
