\nThe VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (GLA VA), one of the nation's largest and most innovative VA systems, is seeking a dedicated, full-time Primary Care Physician for our San Luis Obispo (SLO) Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. As a Primary Care Physician at SLO, you'll be part of a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) caring for a panel of Veterans, providing longitudinal and preventive care with the support of experienced nurses, social workers, mental health professionals, pharmacists, and administrative staff.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n* Deliver primary and acute care services to veteran patients in an outpatient setting
\n* Provide same day care and coverage for other PACT providers as needed
\n* Collaborate with mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants)
\n* Demonstrate clinical competence in history-taking, examination, diagnosis, therapeutic ability, emergencies, patient management, consultations, and record keeping
\n* Participate in quality assurance, process improvement, systems redesign, and access initiatives in support of local and national VA goals
\n* Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community agencies to facilitate treatment planning and continuity of care
\n* Engage performance measures and process improvement initiatives
\n* Foster collaboration with supervisory and frontline staff to improve clinic operations
\n* Experience or interest in Women's Health preferred

Salary Range: $270,000 - $315,000
\n - \n
PTO: 50-55 days of PTO annually (26/13 days of annual/sick leave, 11 holidays)
