Hematology/Oncology locums needed in Kentucky with no call and an outpatient adult practice. The team is looking for consistent coverage at least 3 weeks per month, with priority for Wednesday through Friday coverage.

Practice Setting


  • Outpatient Hematology and Oncology, adult patients
  • Case mix is approximately 40% hematology and 60% oncology, more consultative in nature
  • Support includes 1 NP and 1 MD locum who covers Monday and Tuesday
  • Infusion center onsite with 16 infusion chairs next to the oncology offices

Schedule


  • Monday through Friday coverage needed, minimum 3 weeks per month
  • Wednesday through Friday coverage is the highest priority
  • Scheduled hours are 8a to 5p
  • No call

Cases and Procedures


  • Approximately 15 to 18 patients per day
  • No bone marrow transplants or acute leukemia
  • Rare biopsies

Requirements


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Kentucky medical license required
  • BLS and DEA required
