Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R)
• State license for radiology technologists in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain
• 1+ year of recent experience performing X-ray and imaging duties in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in operating multiple imaging systems and following safety protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and ensure quality imaging results
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures using appropriate shielding and techniques
• Uphold patient safety and privacy, following established hospital guidelines and standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams to facilitate effective patient care
• Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly
• Complete required documentation and communicate findings as needed
