Radiologic Technologist in Fenton, MI

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced Imaging Professional with expertise as a Radiology Technician or X-ray Technologist for an assignment in a Level II Trauma Center. This 13-week opportunity involves supporting diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic hospital environment that values accuracy, compassionate care, and flexibility.

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week, each scheduled from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No block scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays, ensuring adherence to established protocols
• Accurately position patients and operate radiologic equipment for optimal imaging results
• Support the surgical team with intraoperative imaging procedures when needed
• Collaborate with physicians and nurse staff to deliver timely diagnostic information
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards at all times
• Document and review imaging records in accordance with healthcare regulations
• Provide professional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced trauma setting

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• At least 1 year of experience as an X-ray or Radiology Technician
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is highly desirable
• Operating Room (OR) procedure experience is a strong plus
• Detail-oriented with excellent patient communication skills
