Our medical center is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon to provide care for the community and surrounding areas of Newton, Kansas. We are an 11 bed Emergency Department within a 99-bed hospital in South Central Kansas. Our ambulatory service locations include four primary care clinics, one Immediate Care clinic, neurology, urology, general surgery, cardiology and orthopedics.

Work Schedule: Two and a half clinic days and two OR days per week.

Key Responsibilities: Orthopedic Patient and Surgical Care; Call Rotation; Quality Initiatives.

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine
  • \n
  • Licensed in the State of Kansas by the Board of Healing Arts
  • \n
  • Completion of a recognized orthopedic surgical residency program
  • \n
\n

Experience:

\n
    \n
  • Minimum of one to two years of clinical experience, preferred
  • \n
  • Specialization appreciated; Foot and ankle desired
  • \n
  • Board Certification - desired
  • \n
