This consultancy consistently “punches above its weight,” securing complex and prestigious schemes across both public and private sectors. You will join a supportive team environment where progression into senior management is encouraged.Typical Responsibilities Include:\n

- Undertaking detailed design and structural analysis across a variety of building types within the property sector. \n
- Leading projects and overseeing the work of a dedicated design team. \n
- Providing guidance, mentoring, and technical direction to junior engineers and technicians. \n
- Regular communication with architects, contractors, and wider project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. \n
- Liaising directly with clients and responding swiftly to technical queries. \n
- Attending site visits and meetings, contributing to technical reports and design reviews. \n
- Taking on increasing responsibility as you move toward higher-level management roles within the business. \n

- RC-framed multi-storey buildings up to 35 floors (hotels, residential, student accommodation) \n
- National out-of-town retail developments across the UK \n
- Custodial facilities and secure government-led projects \n
- Commercial and mixed-use developments \n
- Major hospital builds and extension programmes. \n
- \n
- A degree (or equivalent) in civil or structural engineering. \n
- Chartered status with ICE or IStructE or actively working toward it. \n
- Proven experience in building structures within a consultancy environment. \n
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Tekla, Autodesk, and other analysis tools. \n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate confidently with internal and external stakeholders. \n
- A strong understanding of the design and construction process from concept stage through to site delivery. \n
