Buyer - Brazilian Speaking

Advancing People - Multilingual Recruitment Specialists are recruiting a Brazilian or Portuguese speaking Buyer for their client based in Colchester, Essex.

Our client are a global procurement specialist who supply OEM and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) spare parts worldwide to a number of different industries.

Roles & Responsibilities:

\n
• Source and procure products and materials from Brazilian-speaking suppliers, ensuring the best balance of cost, quality and service.
\n
• Manage supplier documentation, contracts and purchasing records accurately.
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across South American and beyond
\n
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules to maximise value for the business.
\n
• Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to ensure uninterrupted supply.
\n
• Track supplier performance, resolving any issues relating to quality, delivery or availability.
\n
• Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities to improve product range and reduce costs.
\n

Person Specification:

\n
• Fluent in Brazilian or Portuguese
\n
• Previous experience in a Purchasing, Buying, Procurement or Supply Chain role.
\n
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and secure competitive pricing.
\n
• Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving supply chain issues.
\n
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Demonstrable / Proven ability of forming and maintaining successful supplier relationships
\n

This is a full time permanent position offering an annual basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + attractive company benefits
