About the Role
\nWe are seeking an experienced and reliable MIG Welder / Fabricator on behalf of our client to join their manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for MIG welding components, carrying out general fabrication work, and ensuring all products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
\nWorking within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be expected to read engineering drawings, prepare materials, and complete welding and fabrication tasks safely and efficiently.
\nKey Responsibilities

- MIG weld steel components to specification and quality standards \n
- Perform general fabrication and assembly work \n
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical instructions \n
- Prepare, measure, cut and assemble materials as required \n
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality \n
- Maintain welding equipment and work areas in a safe and tidy condition \n
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies \n
- Work effectively as part of a production team to meet manufacturing deadlines \n
Skills & Experience Required
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Previous experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing environment \n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings \n
- Experience with fabrication and metal assembly work \n
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices \n
Desirable

- Recognised qualification in MIG Welding \n
- Previous experience in fabrication of industrial or engineering components \n
