We're looking for a Store Manager Designate to join Vision Express in Kent on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious retail manager ready to develop into a Store Manager role within one of the UK's leading optical retailers.

As a Store Manager Designate, you'll support stores across Kent, gaining valuable experience in retail operations, people leadership, sales performance, and customer experience. Through a structured development programme, you'll build the skills and confidence needed to become a successful Store Manager.

About the Role

As a Store Manager Designate, you'll:

•Lead, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams•Drive sales performance and commercial growth•Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care•Manage store operations, compliance, and company standards•Support colleague engagement, wellbeing, and performance•Work alongside experienced Store Managers and regional leaders

You'll gain exposure to a variety of store environments, helping you develop into a well-rounded retail leader while preparing for your own Store Manager opportunity.

What We're Looking For

•Previous retail management, assistant manager, or store manager experience•Strong commercial awareness and leadership skills•Experience coaching and developing colleagues•Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities•A customer-focused approach and passion for retail•Flexibility to travel across the Kent region
