- Pay: £13.69 per hour PAYE \n
- Working Hours: 27 hours per week \n
Sheffield City Council are seeking a Senior Business Support Officer to provide high-level administrative support to an Assistant Service Manager. This role is crucial for managing recording responsibilities and requires a dedicated individual who can handle a variety of administrative tasks efficiently.
\nDay-to-day of the role:
\n- \n
- Manage and plan meetings, case supervisions, and personal supervisions, including minute-taking and transcribing. \n
- Assist in planning and organising Manager’s meetings, Team Meetings, and work site meetings. Record meetings using a Dictaphone and share the records accordingly. \n
- Support with uploads and navigation on platforms like LL and SharePoint. \n
- Handle performance data collection, calendar overviews to avoid clashes, and make room and travel bookings. \n
- Process new starters and leavers, manage IT requests, and maintain inbox and diary appointments via Outlook. \n
- Upload work onto social care software and support with recording on these platforms. \n
- Provide business process support which may include complex minute taking, scanning, uploading documents, and customer service support to internal and external customers. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications. \n
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role. \n
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills. \n
- Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information with discretion. \n
- Proficiency in IT systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. \n
- Experience in a busy office environment with a strong understanding of office processes and procedures. \n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. \n
- Flexibility in work location and area, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. \n
