Azure Infrastructure Engineer

The Role: Azure Infra Engineer Location: Sheffield, UK Position Type: Contract Inside IR35 Remote work option Available: Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite Job Description: Key Responsibilities * Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure. * Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, VPNs, and Storage Services. * Implement and manage Azure Identity and Access Management (Azure AD, RBAC, MFA). * Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. * Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM Templates, Terraform, PowerShell, or Azure CLI. * Perform cloud migrations from on-premises environments to Azure. * Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. * Ensure compliance with security and governance standards. * Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and performance-related issues. * Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams for cloud operations. Required Skills * Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Services (IaaS/PaaS). * Hands-on experience with Azure VM, VNet, NSG, VPN Gateway, Azure Storage, and Azure Backup. * Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and Identity Management. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep). * Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI. * Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and Security Groups. * Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure. * Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
